​​Ms. Kyong is originally from South Korea, where she successfully taught and managed her music school.  She earned a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performing with a Minor in Piano from Daegu Catholic University in South Korea.  She had the opportunity to receive intensive training from a Juilliard professor and earned a certificate of completion and a formal invitation to audition at the prestigious school.   Her comprehensive training equipped her with a solid theoretical and practical foundation in music.

Drawing from her former work as a professional opera singer, she is prepared to guide aspiring vocalists toward achieving a refined technique, expressive phrasing, and stage presence.  Her extensive experience in teaching piano and voice lessons spanned over thirty years.  Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in teaching students of diverse age groups and skill levels, instilling in them a solid foundation in the fundamental concepts of music.

Ms. Kyong’s passion for music allows her to patiently foster her students’ self-confidence and creativity.
